Music Concert Videos

This is a picture that I took at the Embrace concert at the Prime Club in Cologne. The gig took place on the 2nd of December 2004, and they had recently released their Out of Nothing album. The Chris Martin penned ‘Gravity’ was riding high in the German charts at the time, ensuring a good attendance fot the embrace concert. As you can see from the picture we were close enough to the band to quite literally embrace them!

This picture is from the Datsuns concert on the 7th June 2004. They really rocked the place, and were as glam as they come! They really played up to the crowd, crowd surfing, running up and down the stage and playing the gutitar with their teeth were just a few of the things they did to entertain us. The Datsuns come from New Zealand, but that did not stop them trying a little German out on the crowd, something really apreciated by a friendly Cologne crowd.

This picture is of the Dandy Warhols strutting their stuff at the Prime club in Cologne on the 20th October 2005.

I attended the concert with my friends Sandra and Dora, all three of us enjoyed the Dandy Warhols immensely. How could we not, they seemed to be relishing playing in a small venue, and the crowd were responsive. The style of their music just makes you want to dance, definately one of the more cheerful bands that I have seen. Franz Ferdinand or the Boo radleys might top them in the happy gig stakes though (I guess that radiohead are not going to win that competition).
